Moses Manyoni:
MEC: Police, Roads and Transport.
Educational Background:
After matriculating with exemption in 1981, he went on to complete an array of courses at some of South Africa’s leading tertiary institutions. After writing Economics and Sociology at Khanya College he went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (BA) at the Witwatersrand University, where he was Class representative of ELS, an Executive member of the Cultural Committee in the Black Students Society (BSS) and a tutor to English I and II students. He attained a diploma in Business Management, followed by a course in Voter Education Elections Manager Certificate, both from Damelin. He is currently completing his EDP (Executive Development Program) through UNISA.
Work History:
Mr. Manyoni has worked for some of the most influential institutions in our country, including: Matla Trust, where he worked towards the empowerment of disadvantaged communities through education and training; the IEC, where he was Deputy Director. In addition, he was Director of Tourism for the Free State Provincial Administration and later CEO of the Free State Tourism Board, where he managed the institution at a senior level. He has served as City Manager of the Maluti a Phofung and Mangaung Local Municipalities. Currently, he is the MEC responsible for the Department of Police, Roads and Transport in the Free State Province.
